On Monday, 17 February 2025, in the evening at 22:08, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 279.90), a BMW ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 55-year-old driver of the BMW (40 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
