Unlicensed BMW driver runs off the road on the Užventis–Tryškiai–Viekšniai road
On Tuesday, 11 March 2025, in the evening at around 20:00, in Mažeikių district municipality, Užventės village, on Viekšnių street near No. 2, a BMW 320D ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
