On Wednesday, 18 June 2025, in the evening at around 17:00, in Kaunas, on Baltų avenue near No. 119A, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Golf and a Volkswagen Jetta. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 52-year-old driver of the Volkswagen Golf, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
