On Thursday, 26 June 2025, at night at 0:15, in Šilutės district municipality, on Gluosnių street near No. 13A, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Opel Signum and an Audi Q7. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.60‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
