On Monday, 14 July 2025, in the evening at 20:28, in Šiaulių district municipality, on the Kuršėnai–Mažeikiai national road (kilometre 13), an Audi A3 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk and had no driving licence.
