On Monday, 13 October 2025, in the afternoon at 16:20, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 304.50), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Passat and an Audi A6. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 55-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to keep a safe distance.
