Mercedes-Benz truck driver hits a parked Mercedes-Benz and flees in Kantališkių village
On Saturday, 25 October 2025, at night at 4:24, in Marijampolės municipality, Kantališkių village, on Naujoji street near No. 10, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Mercedes-Benz, a Schmitz and a Mercedes-Benz E280 CDI registered in Slovakia. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 59-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (30 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
