On Thursday, 17 January 2013, in the afternoon at 16:16, in Kaunas, on čiurlionio street, at the junction with Girstupio street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Solaris Urbino 12 and a Volvo V40. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 66-year-old driver of the Solaris (33 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober.
