Drunk Volkswagen driver runs off the road on the Vilnius–Varėna–Gardinas road
On Saturday, 23 March 2013, at night at 3:30, in Druskininkų municipality, on the Vilnius–Varėna–Gardinas main road (kilometre 116.67), a Volkswagen Golf ran off the road. One person was injured — the 20-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (0.85‰ blood alcohol).
