DAF truck and two other cars crash on the Vilnius–Varėna–Gardinas road
On Thursday, 28 November 2024, in the afternoon at 14:58, in Druskininkų municipality, on the Vilnius–Varėna–Gardinas main road (kilometre 115.94), a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a car, an Audi, a DAF and a Schmitz Cargobull. Two people were injured — the 30-year-old driver of a car (hospitalized, was not wearing a seatbelt) and the 49-year-old driver of the DAF (treated as an outpatient).
