On Monday, 24 June 2013, in the morning at around 6:00, in Kaunas, on Pilviškių street, at the junction with Alšėnų street, a Mercedes-Benz E220 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 38-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz, who committed other traffic rule violations. He had no driving licence. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
