On Tuesday, 25 June 2013, in the evening at 19:40, in Telšių district municipality, on Palangos street near No. 71, at the junction with V. Montvilos street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a Renault Laguna and a Volkswagen Passat. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Renault, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
