On Friday, 28 June 2013, in the evening at 22:30, in Kaunas, on Varnių street, at the junction with Bijūnų street, a Subaru Impreza hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 76-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Subaru (4 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
