On Sunday, 7 July 2013, in the afternoon at 12:49, in Raseinių district municipality, Žibulių village, on Dvaro street, at the junction with Gynėvės street, an Audi 100 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 38-year-old driver of the Audi (18 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.05‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
