On Sunday, 7 July 2013, in the evening at 18:27, in Šilutės district municipality, on Lietuvininkų street near No. 74, at the junction with M. Jankaus street, an Opel Astra hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 48-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized).
