On Friday, 23 August 2013, in the morning at 10:08, in Tauragės district municipality, Aukštupių village, on Aukštupių street, a Mazda 626 rolled over. Two people were injured — a 29-year-old passenger of the Mazda (hospitalized, was not wearing a seatbelt) and a 25-year-old passenger of the Mazda (hospitalized, was not wearing a seatbelt). The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the Mazda (2 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
