Driver flees after hitting a pedestrian at a crossing at Tilžės g. and Rasos g., Šiauliai
On Saturday, 14 September 2013, in the evening at 20:10, in Šiauliai, on Tilžės street, at the junction with Rasos street, a vehicle hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 78-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. He fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was raining, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
