On Saturday, 9 November 2013, in the evening at around 18:00, in Kaunas, on Šiaurės avenue, at the junction with V. Landsbergio-Žemkalnio street, a KIA Motors Carnival hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person died — a 71-year-old pedestrian (later died from the injuries). The driver was sober.
