Mercedes-Benz hits pedestrians at a crossing on Veiverių g., Kaunas
On Wednesday, 4 December 2013, in the afternoon at 16:23, in Kaunas, on Veiverių street near No. 150, a Mercedes-Benz 190 hit two pedestrians at a pedestrian crossing. Two people were injured — a 16-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient) and a 12-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 80-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (20 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. Both drivers were sober.
