On Thursday, 19 December 2013, in the morning at 6:30, in Vilnius, on Rūdninkų street, at the junction with Visų Šventųjų street, a Renault Twingo hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 57-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 44-year-old driver of the Renault (16 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
