On Saturday, 21 December 2013, at night at 1:33, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on the Žiežmariai–Kruonis regional road (kilometre 11.82), a Ford Mondeo ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the Ford, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.80‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
