On Tuesday, 24 December 2013, at night at around 1:00, in Šiauliai, on Radviliškio street near No. 37, a BMW 320 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
