On Wednesday, 25 December 2013, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Kaunas, on Veiverių street, at the junction with Technikumo street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved an Opel Astra and a BMW 530. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the Opel (9 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober.
