On Friday, 20 December 2013, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Kaunas, on Taikos pr. near No. 2A, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Audi A6 Avant, an Audi A6 and an Opel Vectra. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 63-year-old driver of the Audi A6 Avant (30 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. All drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
