On Friday, 3 January 2014, in the morning at 8:35, in Vilnius, on Ukmergės street, at the junction with Saltoniškių street, a Volvo C70 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Volvo (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 60 km/h.
