On Tuesday, 14 January 2014, in the evening at 21:36, in Panevėžys, on Smėlynės street, at the junction with Įstro street, a BMW 520 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the BMW (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.36‰ blood alcohol).
