On Wednesday, 15 January 2014, in the morning at around 8:00, in Pasvalio district municipality, on the Biržai–Raubonys national road (kilometre 18.10), a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a Keeway, a Mercedes-Benz 508 and a Volkswagen Passat. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 41-year-old driver of the Keeway, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He had no driving licence. All drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
