On Friday, 17 January 2014, in the afternoon at 15:10, in Tauragės district municipality, on Vytauto g. near No. 76, in a yard, a Toyota Highlander hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 77-year-old pedestrian (a citizen of Belarus) (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 54-year-old driver of the Toyota (34 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. The driver was sober.
