On Wednesday, 22 January 2014, in the morning at 7:11, in Vilnius, on Taikos street near No. 1, an Audi 100 hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 63-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Audi (17 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties and failed to give way when crossing an intersection.
