On Tuesday, 28 January 2014, in the evening at around 19:00, in Vilnius, on Talino street near No. 107, a car hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 31-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized). The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was icy. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
