On Wednesday, 5 February 2014, in the morning at 8:04, in Kėdainių district municipality, on J.Basanavičiaus street, at the junction with Birutės street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Golf and an Audi A3. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to give way when crossing an intersection.
