On Saturday, 8 February 2014, in the afternoon at 15:30, in Marijampolės municipality, on Uosupio street near No. 1, a Mercedes-Benz 213 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.01‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
