On Thursday, 13 February 2014, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Prienų district municipality, Balbieriškio town, on Užupio street near No. 19, a Fobo ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 38-year-old driver of the Fobo, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (0.91‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
