On Friday, 14 February 2014, in the evening at 19:20, in Kaunas, on Vandžiogalos street, at the junction with Ežero street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Subaru Legacy and a Renault Clio. One person was injured — the 26-year-old driver of the Renault (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Subaru (1 year of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction and failed to give way when crossing an intersection.
