On Sunday, 16 February 2014, in the afternoon at 15:05, in Druskininkų municipality, on the Druskininkai–Leipalingis–Seirijai national road (kilometre 8.63), a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Seat Leon registered in Poland and an Audi 80. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the driver of the Seat (a citizen of Poland) (5 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober.
