On Friday, 21 February 2014, in the evening at around 18:00, in Klaipėda, on Varpų street near No. 16, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Opel Astra and a BMW 325. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 64-year-old driver of the Opel (19 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober.
