On Sunday, 23 February 2014, at night at 1:15, in Vilnius, on P. Lukšio street, at the junction with Verkių street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a BMW X6 and an Audi 100 Avant. One person was injured — a 23-year-old passenger of the Audi (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 15-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. She was drunk (0.31‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, there was fog, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
