On Friday, 28 February 2014, in the evening at 20:30, in Kaunas, on Taikos pr. near No. 68, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 530 and a Nissan Almera. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the BMW (6 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
