On Sunday, 16 March 2014, at night at 23:30, in Tauragės district municipality, on Gedimino street near No. 31, a BMW 325 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the BMW, who committed other traffic rule violations. She was drunk (1.15‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
