On Wednesday, 19 March 2014, in the evening at 18:15, in Vilnius, on Ukmergės street, at the junction with Tarandės street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Passat and a Volkswagen Golf. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 68-year-old driver of the Volkswagen Passat (12 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction and failed to give way when crossing an intersection.
