On Saturday, 22 March 2014, in the evening at 17:54, in Kaunas, on Sodininkų street near No. 37, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Seat Alhambra and an Audi A6 Avant. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Seat, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.56‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
