On Sunday, 23 March 2014, at night at 0:49, in Vilnius, on Šviesos street near No. 19, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Ford Galaxy, a Nissan Patrol, a Ford Focus, an Opel Corsa, a Volkswagen Touran and a Mazda 323. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Ford Galaxy (a citizen of Latvia) (less than a year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (2.65‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
