On Sunday, 23 March 2014, in the afternoon at 15:45, in Panevėžys, on Varpo street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi 80 Avant and a KIA Motors Sportage. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to give way when changing direction. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
