On Tuesday, 25 March 2014, in the morning at 9:32, in Panevėžys, on J. Basanavičiaus street near No. 3, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi 80 and a Volkswagen Passat. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 59-year-old driver of the Audi (39 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
