On Wednesday, 26 March 2014, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Klaipėda, on Dubysos street near No. 60, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 525, an Audi 100 and an Opel Vectra. Two people were injured — the 52-year-old driver of the Opel (treated as an outpatient) and a 27-year-old passenger of the Audi (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the BMW (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. All drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
