On Friday, 28 March 2014, in the evening at 18:44, in Jonavos district municipality, Gudžionių village, on the Jonava–Gudžioniai regional road (kilometre 4.10), a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Volvo S60 and a Peugeot 406. Two people were injured — a 31-year-old passenger of the Peugeot (treated as an outpatient) and a 57-year-old passenger of the Peugeot (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the Volvo (13 years of driving experience), who entered the oncoming traffic lane. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
