On Monday, 31 March 2014, at night at 2:30, in Lazdijų district municipality, Straigių village, on the Kiti keliai local road (kilometre 0.02), a Renault Laguna hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the Renault (13 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed.
