On Sunday, 13 April 2014, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Vilnius, on Aušros Vartų street, at the junction with Geležinkelio street, a Volvo 7700 hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 58-year-old driver of the Volvo (19 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
