On Wednesday, 16 April 2014, in the afternoon at 11:30, in Šiauliai, on Žemaitės street near No. 18, at a gas station, a Mitsubishi Space Star hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi (2 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene.
