On Thursday, 17 April 2014, in the evening at 22:40, in Panevėžio district municipality, on the Anykščiai–Troškūnai–Panevėžys national road (kilometre 43.35), a Volkswagen Golf rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 51-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene.
